We are not going to go away!!!

I had a voice mail late Friday from Paige Boggs of the Indiana Attorney General's office that went like this:

"We have yet to decide if we are going to proceed with the matter of the Olde Geneva Dairy" I am waiting to talk to the Section Chief of the Consumer Ligation Division. If you have any additional questions please call me at 317-233-4738".

Okay ladies we have her direct number........................CALL HER and let her know that that is not acceptable!

I was called a couple months ago to confirm my case and was asked if I had (1) gone to the OGD and (2) if I got my deposit back. I was told at that time they were proceeding with the case! Now they are saying they haven't decided!

If we don't want this to die we need to let our voices be heard so I urge you to call and let your voice be heard!!!!!

In my opinion it is now the principle of the thing, this man cannot be allowed to get away with scamming the Scrapbooking Community, we do have a voice and we are not unimportant!!! What he did was a crime!!!

Remember................squeaky wheel!!!!!

Bridgers Day in Court

Well apparently there was a civil trial last week for Mr. Bridgers. According to the article in the Shelbyville News, the court gave Bridgers and the Shelby County Plan Commission's attorney, Brady Rife, an additional 30 days to file any relevant paperwork before ruling on the case.

Is there any wonder people avoid the court system? What has it been now since all of this came to light a year plus.........at least he's unable to scam anyone while he's serving his year for tax evasion.

No News

I've been checking to see if the "final pretrail hearing" for April 23, 2008 actually happened and there has been nothing posted about it. So ladies I don't know.

What I do know from the newspaper articles he serving a "one-year prison term for tax evasion and has said he would represent himself in the upcoming civil trial".

The website is also down, but to be honest I'm guessing it's because he couldn't afford to pay for the server any longer.

We can only keep our fingers crossed that the Indiana Attorney General's office is going to come through and proceed with their case against him on our behalf.

Bridgers' Trail is Delayed --------- Yet Again!

For those following the drama of the Olde Genevea Dairy, it appears that his civil trial regarding the "Retreat" has been delayed yet again.

If you have had any dealings with this "Retreat" we still urge you to file a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General's office.

Although the site is FINALLY down, there are still postings of incidents of reservations being made as recent as December 2007.

Bridgers ordered to serve year in prison

Of course his time in jail is not related to the "Retreat" fiasco, but none the less it will get him off the streets!

Shelbyville News continues to keep the public apprised of his activities, the article dated January 17, 2008, is very interesting, especially the comments at the bottom.
